Dick Timm
Dick Timm retired after 37 years as a teacher / administrator. He most
recently served at Trinity Lone Oak, Redeemer, Wayzata, and in
Faribault. He spent some time hunting, serving on school accreditation
teams, and enjoying his grandchildren. St. Peter's invited him to come
share from his experience and expertise. After some very fruitful
conversations, Dick accepted our call to serve as Principal on a
part-time basis. We are thrilled he is now heading up our team of
educators.
Mr. Timm believes that Early Childhood focus is the future of Lutheran
education and is an advocate of combined classrooms. He supports the
vision of St. Peter's and is encouraged by the forward-looking ministry
determination of our leaders.
His regular office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 1:00pm
Dick is married to
Donna, who currently works for the

Extension Fund (LCEF)They reside in Apple Valley. The Timms have four
children: a son who is a pastor in Detroit; a daughter who is a teacher
in Kansas; a son in Costa Rica, and a son who is an engineer in Eden
Prairie. They especially love to spend time with their 10
grandchildren!

Dick writes, “I love my new family - a very large family – St.
Peter’s. I have so many family members to meet. I have so much to
learn. What a joy it has been for me to become a part of this new
family. I have had great challenges almost every day. However, they
have been reached and attained with such ease, with such support, and
with much needed assistance. The willingness and optimism demonstrated
by this family to meet the needs and concerns of our students and their
families has made my work so enjoyable. The Lord’s mercies have been
new to me each day as He promises in Lamentations. God is so good! I
love my new family!”
