Trudy
Kuhlman
Hi, my name is Trudy Kuhlman and I'm the
Music teacher here at St. Peters. I teach general music consisting of
music history, singing, movement, instrumental accompaniment, composition and theory to
Kindergarten through 4th grade students. I also direct three choirs made
up of K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade and 5th -8th graders.
I graduated from Eau Claire University
with a Bachelors of Music Degree K-12. Before coming here I had a
variety of musical experiences in teaching and performing. I also worked
in the business world for many years, but my passion and joy has always
been my music. In addition to teaching at St. Peters I currently direct
a jazz/broadway ensemble called Singsation, and give piano lessons. I
feel fortunate and blessed to teach at St. Peters where music is a big
part of the curriculum, a powerful tool for interactive learning and a
source of worship and praise.
